Project Horus ( is a high altitude balloon experimenters group with the aim of flying helium balloons to altitudes of ~30km (>100,000ft). The group is based in Adelaide, South Australia and has been conducting flights now for nearly 2 years.

The flight of Horus 19 was a special payload - prepared for indie band "Skipping Girl Vinegar" (, whom are based out of Melbourne. This is the "behind the scenes" engineering look at the action involved in launching, flying, tracking and recovering the payload.
