Project Horus is a high altitude helium balloon flight group based out of Adelaide, South Australia. Initially founded in late 2009, the group has to date conducted 20 flights over the last 2 years sending camera, radio telemetry, radio communications and environmental sensor platforms to altitudes exceeding 100,000 feet (>30km). This is a region that is little explored and has over the past couple of years yielded some surprising flight results.

This short film is compiled from our growing library of footage collected to date, both from the balloon platform as well as of the ground launch and flight tracking/control activities. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into what goes into flying Project Horus.
