This was a micro-payload launch (50g weight limit) undertaken on the 20th of January 2012 as part of Linuxconf Australia. Project Horus gave a presentation at Linuxconf describing the project, and as part of this, they gave a live demonstration of their Micronut payload system.

The 50g weight limit is significant as it drops the flight into a different class as far as the regulators are concerned which simplifies various procedures.

Details of the flight will be on the Project Horus blog shortly at projecthorus.org/
