Party girl Kate Soglin goes on the presidential campaign trail to figure out who to vote for, and to convince others that there are reasons to pay attention because there more than just two candidates. Kate was on the campaign trail from Obama’s launch in Springfield to his inauguration in Washington.

Citizen Kate made international headlines when her “Obama butter bust” was presented to the future president two days before the crucial, too close to call Iowa caucus. Because of the bust, Obama was no longer black, he was no longer a candidate, he was now representing the sweet, buttery goodness that the state of Iowa is famous for. Obama won that caucus. David Axelrod called it “the key to his success”. Thanks Mr. Axelrod!

CASE STUDIES:
JENS JENSEN THE LIVING GREEN
Upon seeing our feature documentary, "Jens Jensen The Living Green", one viewer said, "it was so emotional, I can hardly speak". Others did have words, they have called it: “sensational”, “a gift to Chicago,” “a beautifully rendered art film,” “compelling,” "riveting", and “we need a new Jensen.”

To air on PBS stations next summer.

Official Selection: Architecture and Design Film Festival, Wild Rose Independent Film Festival.

We hope to inspire young and old alike to take Jensen's story to heart - that one person can make a difference. Jensen brought naturalistic parks, what he called 'the living green', into Chicago's ghettos, when it was considered the worst place on earth to live.

"Jens Jensen The Living Green" will appear on PBS in the summer of 2014. You can watch select clips on this site. Look for screenings or book your own at jensjensenthelivinggreen.org or our facebook page: Jens Jensen The Living Green.

GIFT OF HOPE / ORGAN DONATION CAMPAIGN
We are also very proud of the work we did on behalf of the Gift of Hope campaign - spots we created for Illinois helped catapult Illinois donor registration to the highest in the nation. Mostly, we feel that people were so touched by the unforgettable stories of Walter Payton, Tonisha Daniel and Ian Fitch -- as they reveal the difficult and frightening life of a person who needs an organ donation to live -- that they signed up just to help.

A high point in the years long campaign, came when Tonisha, who had appeared in a radio spot one year, received her liver donation because of the radio spot. The next year Tonisha appeared in our TV spot with the music of Cold Play and the words – "nobody said it was easy."

NEC
Using technology developed in conjunction with the Medialab at MIT, we rolled out NEC's new division, automotive electronics, at the SAE show in Detroit. Within six years that division was so successful with its SeatSentry Occupant Sensing System (a smart airbag system) that we rolled-out their new joint venture with Honda, called Honda-Elesys.

FMC
For close to five years we created every kind of meeting video for this multi-national corporation whose products ranged from herbicides to howitzers. Best videos included Second City actors spoofing their industrial product line.

SNAPPLE
Again working with Second City, our mission was to drive sales teams to gain shelf space - we created a Snapple Swat Team who took the shelf mission as seriously as capturing Osama Bin Laden.

AWARDS:
Emmy nomination, Pollie Awards, Telly Awards, Omni Awards, Accolade Awards, Chicago International Film Fest Hugo, best organ donor campaign, PBS - best fundraising video, Pollie - best slate of candidates
