1. One year ago, the militant Islamic group Boko Haram kidnapped 276 girls, mostly Christian, from a government school in the northern Nigerian town of Chibok in Borno State. Fifty-seven escaped, but 219 are still being held. The girls' abduction drew global protests and launched the Twitter hash tag campaign #BringBackOurGirls. But since then, the plight of those girls has been largely forgotten. George Thomas of CBN News has an update on this tragic situation.

  3. Last year more Christians were killed in Nigeria than any other country. The onslaught of bombings gave Nigeria the sad distinction of being the nation with the highest Christian death toll. More than 900 Christians reportedly were killed in Nigeria in 2012, all victims of the Boko Haram group and other Islamic militants. In 2013, radicals have killed more than 120 Nigerians, most of them Christians.
