1. In the early 1970`s a young mother and wife went to hear pastor Richard Wurmbrand share his story of how he was persecuted for his faith in Jesus Christ. Nellie Brobbel was that woman. After being deeply impacted by Richard`s story, she desired to see his mission have a Canadian office. The Lord spoke to Nellie that she was the person to take on that task. Along with her husband Klaas a ministry to the persecuted church was started from their Ontario home in 1971. Hear Nellie and Klaas talk about pastor Wurmbrand and the beginning of the mission that would come to be known as The Voice of the Martyrs Canada. 3. Sabina Wurmbrand was imprisoned by the Communist regime in Romania during the country’s worst Stalinist period (1950-1953). During her sentence, she was sent to the dreaded subterranean Fort of Jilava. She also endured forced labour working on the Danube River -- Black Sea Canal. Tens of thousands of prisoners died during the construction of this canal. Sabina was the wife of Reverend Richard Wurmbrand (1909-2001), who was imprisoned for his Christian faith for 14 years. The documentary contains unique, never-shown-before footage of some of these Romanian Communist prisons.
