YOUTH ENSEMBLE THEATER (Y.E.T.) is a theater institute for middle and high school students, which engages emerging actors in a dynamic and intensive process to build an artistic vocabulary and create an original modern play. Y.E.T. uses acting and ensemble-building techniques to create a long-form improvisational theater piece based upon themes that emerge from the collective psyche of the group. This year, Y.E.T. will perform at Bard’s Fisher Center and to perform with Ford’s Theatre’s youth theatre troupe in Washington D.C.
