An experienced corporate leader, Charles Phillips currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Infor. Located in New York’s Silicon Alley, Infor provides business software solutions to clients in 164 countries. With Charles Phillips’ guidance, Infor earns $3 billion in annual revenue.
Prior to his executive duties at Infor, Charles Phillips worked for several notable enterprises, including Oracle Corporation and Morgan Stanley. He served as President of Oracle and as a member of the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Oracle, he successfully managed to grow the company through acquisitions. For ten consecutive years while working as the Managing Director of the Technology Group at Morgan Stanley, he received recognition as an Institutional Investor All-Star. Prior to these professional accomplishments, Phillips also served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Charles Phillips earned a JD from the New York Law School and an MBA from Hampton University. He retains ties to the Air Force Academy as a member of its endowment fund board. He also participates on the Board of Directors for New York Law School.
Outside of his work at Infor, Phillips is a philanthropist. He leads Phillips Charitable Organizations (PCO) and participates on its board. The foundation provides funding in support of single-parent families, injured military veterans, and underserved engineering students. To expedite the application process for grants, PCO usually provides a response to applicants within a two-day period. The group’s board covers all administrative costs to maximize benefits for individuals in need.
Mr. Phillips also dedicates his time to several other Boards, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New-York Historical Society, and the American Museum of Natural History.
