For television Chris has created and co-executive produced pilots for ABC, NBC, Fox, Sony, ABC Family and Lifetime. In film, he has worked as a writer/directing consultant for Universal, Paramount, Warner Bros/New Line, Lion's Gate, Disney and Fox Searchlight. His signature script "Hal Buckley" was on the Blacklist and won numerous awards (as well, he had a second script on the Blacklist called "Bad Robot"). While still in Grad School he was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "Top 25 New Faces of Independent Film".
In 2014, Chris was tapped to Produce and Direct one of the biggest video game franchises of all time - NBA2K - as it made the leap to the next generation of game consoles. For this project, he oversaw a multi-million dollar budget and shot over 300 pages of scripted material for a completely immersive, narrative storyline. The game was showered with overwhelmingly positive reviews and awards (8.9 out of 10 review by IGN, Gamespot and The Bleacher Report and was named Game of the Year by VGX. In 2015, he returned to Direct NBA2K15, again to overwhelmingly positive reviews (9 out of 10 USA Today).
