I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) Spring of 2012 with a BA in both Dance and Spanish and a minor in Nutrition.
Recent projects include dance for camera works performing in You6 (2012) by Sarah Johnson, Getting Back to Sunday (2012) by Valerie Rodrigues, and choreographing, performing, directing, and editing my own project Flying & Nesting (2012). I enjoy working on camera dance projects and look forward to doing independent work on this in the future.
Other choreography credits for stage include my original works Rusting Rooftops (2010) and [Read Only] (2011). I also have had my hand in directing and stage management and served as the student director for Afterimages, UWSP's fully student-produced dance concert for 2 years. I served as assistant stage manager and assistant choreographer to The Lonely Visitor (2010) to Michael Estanich.
Besides just training at UWSP, I've had the opportunity to share my training internationally on a Thailand Study Abroad Program Winter of 2009 where I spent a month sharing and teaching dance with children in Thailand, as well as spending a semester abroad Spring of 2011 in Spain training under Eva Simon at La Escuela de La Danza. This past summer, I trained with Erin Carlisle-Norton of The Moving Architects and served with the organization Project Dance in Washington, D.C.
