Crossing for a Cure was created in 2013 as a way to raise awareness and funding for Cystic Fibrosis. A group of men used stand up paddle boards as a means of traveling the 90 miles from Bimini to the Riviera Marina in less than 24 hours. This is an amazing feat that the four men accomplished, all in the name of helping to raise awareness. The inspiration for this massive physical and mental undertaking is a sweet little girl named Piper. These guys, one of which is Piper's dad, all paddled for Piper, and are known affectionately as "Piper's Angels."
