Dean began to pursue his passion for photography after winning a competition in Digital Photo Plus magazine. He enrolled on a degree in Portrait Photography under the guidance of award winning photographer, Hannah Radley-Bennett.
In 2004 Dean launched his freelance career after receiving advice from music and portrait photographer Perou, which emphasised the importance of an impressive portfolio over higher education.
Predominantly self taught, Deans photographs and his unique style have led to him working with some of the biggest names in music including The Charlatans, Ian Brown, Kasabian, Keane, Kate Nash, Editors, The Courteeners, McFly and Feeder.
Dean now lives in Lincolnshire, with his girlfriend Becky and shoots portraits, adverts and music. He is also Feeders Official Photographer and McFlys Official UK Tour Photographer.
Clients include: Bolo Menswear, Capital Collection, Prestige Management, Riot Management, Milan Clothing, Nicholas Deakins, Four Eyes Fashion, EMI, Feeder, Fiction Records, Dragon Eye Promotions, Hall or Nothing PR and War Child Charity.
