Hi, I'm Donna Lipowitz, an Independent Documentary Filmmaker based in London,
Born in 1973 in Brisbane Australia, of German and British decent.

I've just completed my newest Documentary Film 'Cat Show' (59 minutes) which is due for release in 2015.

My Background:
After Graduating from Griffith University Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production in 1993, I began my career in Filmmaking working in the Art Department on Feature Films and Television Shows in Australia and Germany.

In 2011 I studied Documentary Filmmaking at the MET Film School in London. My first Documentary Film, GOKULA - A Place on Earth for Cows has been well received and was screened at many film festivals including: LIDF lidf.co.uk/ (London International Documentary Film Festival) in London 2012

In 2013 I completed my first long form Documentary Film "DOG DANCING SCHOOL" Premiered at the Seventh Annual Costa Rica International Film Festival in Montezuma. June 28th - 30th.

March/ April 2013 I took part in the International Documentary Challenge docchallenge.org/About/ over 5 days, where I completed the short Documentary Film, "Remember to Breathe."
It Premiered at the Cardiff Mini Film Festival on the 23rd June. cardiffminifilmfestival.co.uk/ and was awarded a prize for runner up in the documentary category.

End of 2014 I competed 'Cat Show' (59') which won best international feature Documentary at the American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs March 2015.
