Dustin Feneley is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Film School, where he attained a Graduate Diploma and a Masters of Film and Television in narrative filmmaking. His short films as writer and director (Night, Snow, Hawker, Eskimo Kiss) have won numerous awards and screened at over one hundred film festivals, including official selections at Cannes, London, Melbourne and Sydney. In 2006, his student film Snow premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the Cinéfondation selection. In 2011, he was awarded the Filmmaker Grand Prix at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival for his body of work in short films. His debut feature project Stray was selected for the Directors Lab 2012 at the Binger Filmlab (Amsterdam) and for IFFR's international co-production market CineMart in 2013. Set in Central Otago, New Zealand, the film is currently in advanced development and is being produced by Desray Armstrong (Meathead, Ellen is Leaving).
