Dustin Jones considers himself "A Musician Who Happens To Play Guitar." Although he is primarily a Classical Guitarist, Dustin is heavily influenced by New Age Music, Celtic Music, European Power Metal as well as traditional Classical Music in his own compositions.
Dustin has been performing publicly and teaching private guitar lessons since 1999. His classical guitar training was most recently under Thomas Patterson M.A., (Professor of Guitar Studies at the University of Arizona). Professor Patterson often recruits Dustin to judge the numerous guitar competitions held there as well. In both 2003 and 2006 Dustin performed Ariel Ramirez's Misa Criolla with choir and ensemble at Pima Community College in Tucson. Dustin has also participated in master classes with world renowned classical guitarists Christopher Parkening and William Kanengiser. Dustin's debut CD Neskowin is to be released in December 2006 and will feature mostly his original compositions for solo guitar.
