Nicole L'Esperance loves to cook, eat well, and write cookbooks.
Having grown up in British Columbia in the early 70s, Nicole developed what has become a life-long passion for good food. During that time, her mother, Marie, co-author of the "Easy Recipes from Scratch" series and an excellent cook, studied gourmet cooking. She was active in various "gourmet clubs" and a hostess for many progressive dinners. Nicole remembers being the only five-year-old with a taste for anchovies and Chicken Saltimbocca.
Nicole believes in eating good, healthy foods made from scratch -- just the way her mother has always made them. That means no canned soups, preservatives, or artificial anything. Her mission is to share recipes that are delicious and easy to prepare.
