Born in Brussels, Emanuela is an actress and director in both Cinema and Theatre. She divides her time working mainly between Rome, Paris and Brussels.
In 1995, having completed her degree in Political Science at the ULB in Brussels, Emanuela decided to dedicate herself completely to Theatre and Film.
She worked for a cultural program on the Fm radio (on the L frequency) and studied dramatic arts at the Conservatoire Royal in Liège, with Jacques Delcuvellerie (Groupov- Rwanda 94-Ecole des Maitres) and Max Parfondry, where she attained the diploma de Premier Prix in June 2000.
Emanuela works in Cinema and Television as an actress for a number of directors such as John Irvin playing Ombretta with Alfred Molina and Jonathan Price in "The Moon and the stars", Maurizio Zaccaro, Giulio Base, René Manzor, Vittorio De Sisti and T. Shermann, Giorgio Serafini, Edo Tagliavini and lately with Philippe Garrel in “La Jalousie” which was shown in the official competition at the Venice Film Festival in 2013.
In 2006 she is finalist for the "Jacques Huisman" belgian theatre price for directors-Declan Donellan selection- with her show " I dream (but maybe not) by Luigi Pirandello. As a model she lends her face in Italy for the National Campain "Against Woman Violence".
In 2008 she win the National Artistic Price for theatre "Filomena Carrara" in Abruzzo, Italy with her show "The Stronger" by August Strindberg dedicated to Ingmar Bergman.
In 2008 she directs two short films "Bagnasciuga" and "Riflessi" that have since been shown at many national and international festivals and won three National prices in 2010 in Film Festival like Rutger Hauer's "I've seen films"IIF in Milan.
The Sled is her second short fiction film .SHE is currently developing the script for her first feature.
