Encyclopedia Pictura is a film and animation studio in San Francisco led by directors Isaiah Saxon, Daren Rabinovitch, and Sean Hellfritsch.

EP’s music videos for Bjork, Grizzly Bear, Metronomy, and Panda Bear have garnered many awards, including Video of the Year from DA&D, UK VMA, Antville, and Spin Magazine. Esquire called them “The Directors of the Future.”

In 2012, Saxon and Rabinovitch teamed up with Vimeo co-founder Zach Klein to start DIY.org, an online community for kids to share their creativity and learn skills. The DIY App has reached #1 in the Kids category of the App Store. Saxon and Hellfritsch are developing ‘The DIY Show’, an animated series based on this world.

From 2008-2011, EP led an effort to build a unique hillside neighborhood and farm called Trout Gulch. They lived and worked there along with 15 others.

They are passionate about farming, building, villages, online and offline communities, augmented and virtual reality, science visualization, social ecology, technological empowerment, adventure, and country living.
