Having built a career in news and corporate television production in the Bay Area, Erin pursued her passion for film at New York’s The New School where she wrote and directed her first film, “The Girl Next Door,” a silent black and white short. Aiming to further supplement her training with broader experience, Erin moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a production assistant on numerous big budget films, often in concert with critically acclaimed directors. Her return to the Bay Area saw her join Scary Cow, a San Francisco-based filmmaking cooperative where Erin assisted on several short films before making her directorial debut with “The Crosses”, followed by “Charity”. Erin continues to search out projects that speak to her and which take her beyond her next directing effort, currently scheduled for Fall 2011.
