Film Hub South East is part of the BFI Film Audience Network. We are one of nine film hubs working across the UK to support the work of cinemas and film exhibitors and promote specialised film (including Independent British film, foreign lanuage, documentary, archive, artists' work, short films, and work with stories and subjects relating to diversity and equality). The work of Film Hub South East is based in Berkshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex.
As an organisation we will have members and an advisory group made up of exhibitors already working across the region. We will be distributing funding to support the work already being done, and promote new and exciting schemes, and offering bursaries for exhibitors to attend film festivals and training courses. We also run regular member activities, including Screening Days, networking, training, advice surgeries, and information days.
