I'm a professional marketing/editorial writer who specializes in sustainability. I've been published in Urban Farm, Edible Atlanta, New Life Journal, and as a guest author on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution site. I was the founder and first chairperson of the sustainability commission for the newest city in the United States, and was a founder and board member of the first community garden there. I helped start many other gardens as well, including one where food pantry clients help and harvest for themselves. I'm an avid home gardener and a mom of two daughters, for whom I wrote a book named Food for My Daughters (what one mom did when the towers fell, and what you can do, too) which has tips, stories, and recipes for living more sustainably. See my blog at foodshedplanet.com for eclectic food-for-thought for a changing world, and for other links.
