I'm trying to find cam with removable optics and 120fps on HD resolution. And my budget is $1.000. oh, and If does not exist, then kill me please! Any ideas?

I think the cheapest one is Sony NEX-FS700 and that's like 8.000$

You can get 400 fps on the Nikon 1 series (and 1200 fps). Nowhere near HD resolution though. You CAN, however, get 4K 60fps with the Nikon V1, but only for very short bursts (I don't think that's what you meant, though).

GoPro Hero 3 can do 120fps too, if I remember correctly...and at a MUCH lower price than a dedicated high-speed camera. Of course you lose the ability to change lenses.

One other thing you could look into is getting a camera that does 60p and then using something like Twixtor (software) to ramp it up to whatever you want. I really haven't ever shot anything over 400fps or 1200fps from my V1. On my Nikon D7100, I rarely go to 60fps for anything because I like the look of 24p better. But I digress.

Good luck w/your search. :)
