A new fix has been put into place, so video uploads should no longer become stuck in the "Conversion will begin shortly" state. Hooray!

It appears that this issue has been resolved for most users, but some are still encountering issues with their uploads getting stuck in the "Upload complete! Conversion will begin shortly" state. Our developers are investigating and making some adjustments. In the meantime, if your upload is stuck with this message for more than a few minutes, please let us know by posting in our Problems Uploading thread: vimeo.com/forums/help/topic:16738. Then, try uploading your file again. Thanks!

Hi Vimeo,

We're currently experiencing an issue where some uploaded videos are failing to save successfully to our server. The end result is a message reading "Upload complete! Conversion will begin shortly" that persists indefinitely. Unfortunately, the only way around this issue is to reupload your file.
