Nikolay Yakovlev 3 years ago Hello there, and sorry if that question appears previously! I am using Dslr (canon eos 60d) as shooting engine and Adobe Premiere as primary editing tool. In fact, i shoot to many useless frames per one footage - Imagine, that camera stands on rec for 20 minutes and all i need from that recording - only 20sec length piece. As you (maybe) know, canon makes highbitrate h.264 (in .Mov container) files, that allready has benn compressed, so if i put my footage to Premiere, cut it and render as converted h.264 for storage or usage (in AE or other software), it will be like twice compression and quality loss. If i'll leave my footage uncompressed after cutting or simply uncut, soon I'll need to buy a separate room for storage drives :( Is there any way to cut my footage propertly and leave short samples for storage and usage?
