Trouble In The Heights (drama): It begins one night under the great expanse of the George Washington Bridge. Two teenagers have no idea what they’re about to get into when they bury a trash bag stuffed with money. This sets in motion the story of two brothers, Javy and his older brother Diego, and the people who want their money back. As he fights for survival, the events of the night ultimately lead Diego to the decision that will change more lives than just his own. Starring Rayniel Rufino, Antonio Ortiz, Luis Antonio Ramos and Raúl Esparza. A multi-platform release through Viva Pictures, Trouble In The Heights earned two Imagen Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Actor (for lead actor Rayniel Rufino).
The Incredibly Spectacular Dyckman Fireworks Co. (documentary): This short film presents an intimate and up-close look at how one New York neighborhood celebrates the Fourth of July.
Nutcracker Inc (documentary): A left-of-center feature-length documentary set in the New York neighborhood of Washington Heights that tells the story of the illicit and underground street libation and its relationship to the community that made it infamous. The film not only paints the story of the Nutcracker, but also presents a portrait of Washington Heights, its recent history and the diversity of its residents.
Untitled Paradise Garage - Larry Levan Movie (biopic). For ten years, one New York City nightclub was the epicenter of music. Records were broken on its dancefloor, its sound system was the stuff of legend, and one man would inspire legions of fans from around the globe and generations to come. This is the true story of how it all began, how it would end, and everything in between.
In addition to films both narrative and documentary, GPC+P has also provided content for New York cultural institutions the United Palace Theater and the Morris-Jumel Mansion.
