We are two recent graduates of the UC Berkeley Landscape Architecture program. We were awarded a grant from the Scott Traveling Fellowship to study bicycle infrastructure in major cities throughout SE Asia, China, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. We thought it best to study bicycle infrastructure from the pedaler's point of view, so we'll be biking our 6,000 mile route over the next 6 months.
We believe that bicycling is one of the keystones in creating a healthier, happier, cleaner, and carbon neutral world. We hope to bring back inspiration and ideas from our journey to encourage more bicycling right back here at home in the good ole U.S. of A. (obesity and CO2 capital of the world).
