What Were We Thinking Films is a fiercely independent production company that focuses on independent narrative features and genre-breaking documentaries. Formed in 2004 by director/writer Gorman Bechard and producer/videographer Frank Loftus, the Connecticut-based company has an undeniable track record. Utilizing the brightest talent, they have produced seven features which have garnered rave reviews, played film festivals around the world, and seen distribution in all media. The two most recent films from the company include "A Dog Named Gucci," the first feature to tackle the issue of animal abuse and the laws protecting domestic animals in the U.S. It was released on DVD and streaming in April 2016. And their 4th rock documentary "Who Is Lydia Loveless?" which is currently play the film festival circuit.
