Originally from Sydney, Australia, but currently living in Portland, Oregon. I moved here in 2006 to work with LAIKA Inc, as part of the dedicated VFX team, working on feature length stop motion animated films. I am a senior character technical director and developer, specializing in high end character and creature rigging, animation setup and deformation.
I have over 14 years of experience in film and television production, I also have a strong technical/generalist background with experience in all areas of CG production. I've had experience supervising and leading small teams of technical artists, as well as mentoring and training junior to mid level artists and TD's.
As a developer, I've created wide variety of highly utilized tools, plugins and deformers for a number of different creature animation pipelines.
