The Transparentsea Voyage was shot over a 30 day ocean adventure from Byron Bay to Bondi Beach in Sidney.
The footage was used for a media campaign to make people aware of the Humpback whales fright for survival in the Southern Ocean against the Japanese whalers during their breading season in summer months!
The extra footage of Will singing was shot between Devonport and downtown Auckland City post journey.

It was the weirdest thing, recalls Will. I wrote and recorded the album before I ever knew I would take the TransparentSea voyage. Every song on the album is either about sailing, love or food or a combination. Of course there are a few other topics, but these themes forced their way through. So for me the adventure was truly one of those meant-to-be things that made me more aware of the fact my art follows life, and vice versa.
Sailing, Love and Food was recorded over eight days at Retrophonics Studios in Crescent Beach, Florida and produced by Jim Devito (Tom Petty, Donavon Frankenreiter, William Nowik, John Sayles, Roy Clark). Special Guests include: G. Love on harmonica for Rooster, JJ Grey (Mofro) on lead guitar for Thats alright Mamma, Stan Lynch (Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers) on percussion, Owen Newcomb (Afro Dizziact, Australia) on double bass and Jagoda (Swamp Cabbage, New York) is drums.
