I'm not going to lie - I think I'm a pretty good slackliner. I know that doesn't sound very modest - and I realize I'm not going to be winning any world titles any time soon - but I've spent a lot of time on the line, and as a result I'm not ashamed to say I'm somewhat skilled.
So when a friend told me he'd set up a 40m waterline one morning, I thought I'd just waltz on down there, walk up and down it a few times, maybe take a fall trying some tricks in the middle, then be off home in time for lunch. I've bounced up and down 25m lines over land - how much of a difference can a bit of water make?
Big thanks to Proude Hawkins for the help on the day, as well as all the work he's put into this project in the last few months.
