It is a cold winters night in the New England countryside. An elderly man, Harold, has just nestled in his favorite chair with novel when the sound of a doorbell fills his silent house. He slowly shuffles up to see who could possibly be calling for a visit. Opening the door reveals a barren front stoop. Annoyed, he shuts the door to return to his reading. As he turns his back, the bell chimes again. He opens the door to find another empty entryway. Harold pokes at the doorbell to make sure it is working properly and retreats with an off-putting scowl on his face. Ignoring the continuous chiming and growing nervous, he attempts to continue his reading. As the bell becomes too irritating, he quickly stumbles over to catch the perpetrator in the act. Will Harold ever solve this mystery and confront his tormentor?
