Since its formation in 1978, the PEX Automotive Group has rapidly grown to become a world leader in the production of Electronic Brake Wear Sensors.
Challenge: Pex wanted to represent the idea that the Pex Sensor System's are designed to the very same standards as the cars they are intended for. While cars are sexy, sensors are not. Yet they play a very important role - keeping drivers safe every single day. The budget for this job was very tight, so we had to find a way to bring high production value in a smart way.
Solution: We decided to use Andrew Kramer's new Element 3D for this project. This helped tremendously, as Metropolitan provided a great looking city. We also rendered the car in the wide shots using Element 3D. The CU's of the car were done in Cinema 4D. We also used Trapcode Particular. The logo in the lock-up was also rendered with Element using different passes - AO, reflection & specular with masks and blend modes.
