Tim Winters is the first artist in residence under the Orange Health Service's Arts and Health program.
Based in nearby Stuart Town in central west NSW, Tim is an award winning artist and highly regarded as a teacher in the region.
Tim has been influenced by the unique Australian landscape ever since migrating from England at the age of 16.
His work encompasses painting, printmaking and drawing and he is also known for his architectural projects.
A key focus of the residency involves providing art making workshops for staff and residents at Bloomfield Psychiatric Hospital in Orange, NSW. Tim is also developing paintings for exhibition in the general hospital.
The residency is an initiative of Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Service and is supported by Arts NSW.
