Frances Priest, a Scottish artist, designer and maker spent one month exploring the social, historical and personal meanings of craft in Uganda today.

At 32° East we hosted a workshop, gathering together thoughts and ideas from a diverse range of makers. This video shows the beginnings of an important and ongoing research topic: "What Does Craft Mean in Uganda Today".

With key speakers, Sanaa Gateja, Henry Bombooka and featuring Disability Art Project Uganda, led by artist, Fred Batale.
