TING took place on the Ranna Rantso land in July. It is a camp, where you can practice living together with a nature. All of the people were welcomed nicely and we made food together. There was a lot of singing and dancing. There were people in very different ages- from little children to older people. We built pavilion and stove made of clay there. There we could cook. There is a cool habit in Ting camps, you cannot take technique along with you, no computers, telephones, no cameras. I had my camera equipment with me of course, left it in my car, but I still wanted to go and film so much, Ranna Rantso nature is so different, couldn’t leave it without filming it. Ting was also special, it was such a strong experience, I don’t have words to describe it. I would have liked to film it, but unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to use technique there, so use can see only animals and nature of Ranna Rantso.
