In this short demo video you can see my Wood-Comp EXTRALITE R camera slider with explanation and illustrated camera moves below. To follow up on my products, please take a look at my web site at: wood-compslider.com
This slider is very special as it has a mechanical solution to auto-track your subject or talent in the frame. Any part of the frame in any orientation of the slider. Just set up your slider on the top of your tripod or as stand alone slider by its all terrain legs. In case you wanna perform some auto tracking slides, just set your first key frame by moving your carriage to the left of the slider and frame your shot by the ball bead on the top of your carriage. Now set the second key frame by moving your carriage to the right side of the slider and adjust the Cross-bar on the slider, between the main rails. That is all! Now you all set! As you'll move the carriage along the rail you will see that the camera is tracking your subject or talent. Further more the Wood-Comp EXTRALITE camera sliders all have a so called, Magnetic Side-support which is between the one end of your slider and one of the leg of your tripod providing a rock solid platform at a single tripod, centre mounted configuration! It's simple and effective! No need to mount your slider on two tripod to get it stabled! As is magnetically connects to the end of your slider and the base-plate located on one leg of your tripod, it's easily removable (1 second..) and stowed back on the side of your slider, so its always at hand.
