This brief tutorial is part of a group of training resources called Public Library Administration Series. The complete collection of the core training videos for this series will be uploaded in 2013-14. This module is a brief review of the process involved with collecting and submitting library statistics. All public libraries are required to file statistics with the Montana State Library annually. This session provides updates on new requirements for statistics due in Fall 2013, some tips on how to plan time and negotiate the online forms, and some ideas for how to use these statistics to report on and improve library services. Presented by Colleen Hamer of the Montana State Library.
