Cara Orban presents this 3-part short course for librarians who want to customize their library's DiscoverIT profile, or create an additional profile. This short course also explores options through the admin module to gather statistical information, modify search default settings, and change the look of the search pages for your library's users.
It is recommended to attend all three sessions either recorded or live.
At this end of this short course, participants will be able to:
-create a search box that is customized for a special audience such as kids or healthcare providers
-have a much better understanding of how the DiscoverIT search tool works
-be able to harvest statistical data about the use of DiscoverIT at your library
