The first shot is a heart-shaped wooden signage that says 'Dylan & Elaine's wedding is in the back yard", a cute gift from Dylan's mom. It was nicely hand painted and carved, best of all, it was a surprise gift for Elaine + Dylan!
It was such a gorgeous, gorgeous wedding at Elaine's parents' backyard on a beautiful sunny day in September. All the DIY decor design that Elaine and Dylan did for their ceremony and all-time amazing floral design from Celsia Florist were just an amazing combination. The best part of the ceremony is, it all happened under an apple tree, a part of Elaine's childhood memory of getting married in the backyard, under the tree. How cute!
Dylan and Elaine both met at SFU in their freshman years, so having their reception at the SFU Alumni Diamond Centre was no doubt the best choice. We were really honored to have had this opportunity to film their wedding, especially when Elaine herself is one really talented wedding photographer and Dylan is a creative filmmaker himself, too. One of the flattering things is when other talented professionals have you to capture their special day.

Congratulations and all the best to you two!
