'O' is an exploration of the unexpected aesthetic phenomena that occurs when polymer gel balls grow larger after being immersed in water.
The installation is a sculpture that generates movement in a trough of polymer gel balls. It consists of two parts; one representing birth and the other life. Videos display Images of the sculptures along with other source documentation help to generate images that are unexpected and also to reinforce the concept of the circulation of life.
Her goal in this experimentation is to seek out materials that have been altered from being exposed to water and capture the aesthetics of unpredicted phenomena.
