An un-commissioned 16 mm film graphic test that I shot for The School of Visual Arts, 50th Anniversary, "Art Is" campaign. This was the first and only test, shot while I was working there as a media arts professor during the 1990's. It was paid for out of my own pocket. The opening photomation images were all from a book called "SVA Gold, 50 years of Creative Graphic Design", a collection of poster ads for the school by famous artists and designers. They were shot on an Oxberry animation stand as a series of zooming lap dissolves and the super imposed quotes also came from the posters. I ended the piece with a motion graphic of the school's 49/50 logo rolling over and a zoom into the circle of the zero in the 50. That worked as a reveal for time lapse footage that I shot through a fish eye lens with a Bolex camera, of the various media arts production spaces at the school.
