The name Xochimilco comes from Nahuatl language and means "flower field place". Parque Ecológico de Xochimilco is an environmentally protected area in southern Mexico City. This used to be a forgotten area of shallow swamps that was recovered 20 years ago. Many families and couples come here to walk around and to come close to local fauna. It is a beautiful place inside a very hectic city of 20 million people.
This was my first Canon 7D film. It was shot only with a tripod. No rig, slider or dolly. Just the 18-135mm kit lens without ND or color filters. Edited in Pinaccle Studio 14. Resolution 1280x720. Data rate, 6000 kbits/sec. No grading or color correction whatsoever. Images shown as they came out from this great camera! Enjoy!
