Future Tense artist Mark Andrew Webber is best known for his much-copied-but-never-bettered typographic city maps, which he painstakingly carves from sheets of linoleum before turning into beautiful hand-finished fine art prints.

Mark recently completed his largest and most complex work to date - Berlin.

After spending several months living in Berlin researching different districts and particularly typographic use across the city, Mark then spent nine months creating the paper designed before another five months laid on his studio floor carving the whole thing (backwards, naturally) from linoleum.

The finished work measures 3.4m x 1.7m and will be printed and exhibited later this year along with his other maps including Paris, London, New York and Amsterdam.
