The Zurich based painter Trevor Guthrie is best known for his charcoal paintings on paper which reminds us to photorealism. Most of his famous paintings are made in black and white and are following photographic motives, but his own artistic translation into charcoal paintings makes him unique like the american artist Robert Longo.
His sujets are scenes of everydayness, objects or poetic compositions.
This short trailer is part of the documentary on this painter THE INFINITY OF BLACK made by Cosima M. Grohmann and became part of our DVD Edition which is available on our website.
