Walking Laugavegurinn in 12 hours from start to finish in June of 2012. The trail is 55km long and is usually done over several days. We had walked it in three days the previous year so wanted something a bit more challenging but aren't so nuts to want to enter the ultra marathon. We walked it 'backwards' starting from Landmannalaugar in the afternoon and arrived at Þórsmörk in the early hours of the next morning. That's really as dark as it gets in Iceland at the height of summer.
The timelapse was created with a GoPro HD2 taking one frame every second.
