Went for a stroll around Pardubice town after the snow had stopped falling. This place is beautiful in the snow, and when it's dry too. I started off by heading over to the lake across from our apartment. Half of it was frozen over but the swans and ducks seemed quite content. I must bring bread over for them next time as that's twice now i've gotten them all excited, only to realise I have no food for them. From there I ventured over towards the Chateau, where unfortunately the peacocks were in hiding under an archway. There's a lovely pathway then into the old town and onwards to the square, one of the prettiest squares I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I finished up down near the Chateau again and then walked back home with my battery all but exhausted. A most lovely walk indeed.
Except for my stupid socks wanting to roll back down into my boots and off my feet, causing me to stop every few minutes to pull them back up. I'm sure the people walking behind me were most bemused.
Shot on a Fuji X10.
Music is Reflections by Robert Costlow, found on Jamendo.com. The man has some really nice piano music.
