At dawn on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 I was awaken by a band of howling banshees announcing the death of night and the birth of a storm at my door. I immediately set up my camera and followed the progress of the storm from just before 6 a.m. until a little after 8 a.m. and then proceeded to go back to sleep. The entire sequence was shot from various windows in my apartment, an "inside job" for sure.
I was very tempted to borrow a metaphor from Greek mythology and title this one "Zephyrus brings Eudora to Eos" while in more scientific terms I might have described this as "Wind and Rain meet Gravity at Dawn". No matter how I tried to contrive a title, "Storm at Dawn" seemed to nail it best.
With the exception of a few titles there are no special effects employed. In fact very little was done in editing other than cutting and some overlapping sound clips. All the sounds are from this storm, nothing added with my synthesizer or collection of sound generators.
