This is part 2 of a video of Doug Norton's talk to the Annapolis chapter of the Maryland Writers’ Association on July 17, 2013. He spoke about the writing process and his book "Code Word: Paternity".
Doug Norton was a Navy captain who was a naval officer throughout most of the cold war, a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow and a division director at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After more than twenty-five years' naval service, he retired and now spends his time with family, writing novels, and volunteers with the Coast Guard Auxiliary in search and rescue and the Anne Arundel Medical Center in the emergency department.
