My first visit to Llanddwyn and it was a beautiful trip. It was a bit fresh over night as I was shooting at the end of Feb. I shot this time lapse and a virtual tour and I am looking forward to revisiting soon.
I've also made a tour of the area if you would like to virtually visit the beach. steveflanagan.co.uk/media/tours/llanddwyn/llanddwyn.html

Llanddwyn Island is a tidal island; it remains attached to the mainland at all but the highest tides. It provides views of Snowdonia and the Llŷn Peninsula.
The name Llanddwyn means "The church of St. Dwynwen". Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of lovers, making her the Welsh equivalent of St. Valentine. Her Saint's day is January 25 and is often celebrated by the Welsh with cards and flowers. The remains of St Dwynwen's Church can be found and two lighthouses along side the wardens terrace cottages.
