Bridal Veil Falls is located off I-93, in Franconia, NH. The guide books say it is a two and a half mile hike from CopperMine Road. The trail starts off really easy, but gets more and more “knarly” as you ascend higher and higher. You keep thinking the falls are at the top of the next climb, but this is not so. Suffice to say, when you reach a little wooden bridge, you are almost there! The primary draw of Bridal Veil Falls is its 30-foot water fall that looks a bit like a bride’s veil. Water falls in several pools which you can bathe in, although the water is about 40 degrees F, even in summer. Shot with a Panasonic GH3 and a DP slider.
